I want you to throw away your preconceived notions of fear, along with any particular opinions of anxiety and its causes. In doing so, in opening your mind and your spirit to what might be an entirely new way of thinking and of being, you will embark upon the most challenging, illuminating, and richly satisfying journey of your life.
The ability to manifest your vision for ultimate health and happiness is one of the most overlooked tools in creating permanent change. Most of us stopped using our imaginations a long time ago and have become ignorant to the power that lies within us, the power to shape our reality.

To just say, “You have to open your heart!” can be perceived by many people as overly simplistic, naïve, and disconnected from reality. It can be interpreted as a feel-good-warm-and-fuzzy approach that has no substance. And it can give the impression that you are in denial of the magnitude of what is happening.
As long as we choose to see certain events as the measuring stick for our lives, we have no real chance of changing. As long as we view it this way, we will be trapped by our perceptions of the past, and our lives will endlessly repeat the same types of things over and over again until...

Many people say they cannot enjoy today because of something that happened in the past. By holding on to the past, no matter what it was or how awful it was, we are only hurting ourselves by refusing to live in this moment to the fullest...

Would you like to experience your personal best? To feel confident, secure, competent, poised and self-assured? Would you perhaps like to work at a fulfilling job? Would you like to control your own future? Most of us would answer a resounding "Yes!" to at least some of the above questions.

Two dormant chemicals in the same container can co-exist uneventfully, then when a third property is added, this third chemical acts as a catalyst for creating a reaction when shaken or stirred. So it goes with self-improvement...
The yearning that so many of us feel for a “return to the earth” can be seen as acknowledgment that something is lacking in our daily lives, and the fact that crucial elements of life are missing from mainstream culture.

After 25 years of working with a large corporation, I have decided to leave. Why? I discovered that living in the "corporate" world has been living in a culture that is not unlike a battlefield...

All living creatures possess an innate notion of self, a self that naturally desires happiness and wishes to avoid suffering. This natural instinct knows no boundaries, and pervades all forms of life in this universe, regardless of the...

One day during meditation, a year after Werner moved out, I received guidance to get a temporary job in a plant nursery. That seemed unusual to me but I had learned to listen to my Guides since they always led me to something valuable.
We humans are circadian creatures. Like the moon overhead and the ocean tides it governs, we live day-to-day on regular circuits of ebb and flow, departure and return. When we’re resolved to establish new habits of body and mind, the brain’s predisposition toward dailiness becomes a great ally.
The future or the unknown isn’t “out there” but already alive within us – pre-existing in our bodies, our senses, our feelings, our thoughts, our spirits or our consciousness. In other words, the answers we are seeking and the amazing future we hope for is already there within us waiting for us to just “see” it.
The first step is to decide if you want to give change a try. That’s because change is a choice that requires commitment and has consequences. (Of course, not changing is also a choice, with its own set of consequences.)

We live in challenging and exciting times. Because the old gods are crumbling, and our old models are failing us, we can explore new ways of living, understanding ourselves, and growing that may result in opportunities that are more unique, personal, fulfilling, and loving than ever before.

As we enter the New Year, we all hope this year will be better than the last one, and new and wonderful things will come to us. We seek to improve our worldly situations and become better people. But what if the most wonderful thing that could happen would be to realize...

"I have a dream!" Most of us are familiar with this now famous line of Martin Luther King as he spoke of his vision for the United States and for mankind in general. He had faith in his dream, in his vision. What was your dream, your vision of your future when you were younger?

When we look within ourselves for sources of power and qualities such as fearlessness and resilience, our heart is not the first or most immediate place that comes to mind. Indeed, the mind--the seat of our mental and logical reasoning--tells us that relying on the heart’s energies might make us weaker...
In the world that we live in now, with ecological destruction for the sake of material possessions and with the divisions among humanity, a return to our wu-wei nature is imperative, or we will face the dire consequences of our ignorant actions.

When we’re in severe or chronic pain, our normal life is not available to us in the way it used to be. Instead, living in pain feels like being taken out of life. Our normal life recedes to a distance at the same time that the feeling world of pain becomes incredibly close, immediate, and demanding. Pain becomes our experience of life.

What is the next step? Where are we all going? We are witnessing ... and participating in ... great events, extraordinary events. Nothing less than a planetary transformation is taking place, right here and now. Nothing less than a revolution in consciousness is going on. This is a time of great awakening! Hallelujah!

What happens if, instead of coming from fear of our own past, we initiate change from a state of quiet confidence that the changes we collectively wish to explore are being investigated to discover whether or not they might carry us to a HIGHER state of being than we are presently experiencing—even if there’s nothing significantly “wrong” with our present conditions.
